An Evening of the Best of '20s, '30s and '50s Music

Bon Vivant Market & Cafe, 3155 Glendale Blvd., Atwater Village, CA

This Saturday, come spend an evening of some of the best food, drink and atmosphere an L.A. restaurant has to offer, along with some of the best American songs ever written. Dubbed The Knobby Knees, guitarist Bob Gothar, sax man Steve Sadd, drummer/percussionist Ben Rushing and Samantha Elin will go to town with three sets of classic tunes from composers like Irving Berlin, Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields, Duke Ellington, Hank Williams, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly and Fats Domino, with a little bit of the '60s snuck in thanks to Antonio Carlos Jobim and James Brown. Our newest tune is about 55 years old--our oldest is nearly a centenarian. But they never sound dated. In the heart of Atwater Village, near the 134/5 at Bon Vivant Market & Cafe.
